Hey Clear is a professional clearance company based in Fareham that operates locally and in multiple areas across Hampshire.

Sam, the owner and Managing Director of Hey Clear, came to us in early 2023 when he was a franchisee for a bigger national clearance company. Sam wanted to move away from the franchise world and start his own business, using his knowledge and expertise in the clearance and cleaning sectors to offer a discreet, straightforward, and hassle-free service to local customers.

With nothing but a business idea, he wanted our help with creating his entire brand identity, including the name of the business, and with the launch of a UX-focused website and inbound marketing strategy to help build brand awareness and generate leads and enquiries.

Creating Hey Clear's Branding.

We started the process with comprehensive market research to analyse local and national competitors. This ensured the branding strategy was well-informed and strategically sound and would allow us to create a friendly and easily recognisable brand identity.

Starting with the name, our branding specialists created various options but ultimately landed on ‘Hey Clear’ after some very positive feedback from Sam.

Moving onto the branding concepts and mock-ups, our team developed them with a particular focus on creating clean and simple branding that reflected their experience and quality of service. They used meaningful symbols, such as a ‘sparkle’ or ‘star’, to represent cleanliness and quality, which is a big part of Hey Clear’s services.

The final brand identity package included a logo, visual artwork, marketing materials such as flyers and leaflets and a range of social media post templates.

For Hey Clear’s SEO project, our SEO specialists implemented a multifaceted SEO strategy focusing on on-page and technical SEO improvements and improving local SEO performance.

This involved optimising Core Web Vitals, improving image and video optimisation, ensuring the website code was lean, setting up location-specific landing pages, and creating regular keyword-rich blog content to establish Hey Clear as an authority in the clearance industry.

For the keyword strategy, we focused primarily on local search terms, such as ‘house clearance Southampton’ and ‘clearance companies in Hampshire’.

With the optimised location-based landing pages we created, continuous technical improvements, and regular blog content, we have steadily increased organic website traffic and leads through the Hey Clear site and reached the top positions for a number of local keywords.

Hey Clear's PPC Strategy

The PPC campaigns for Hey Clear were designed to maximise brand awareness and lead generation while optimising ad spend.

Through A/B testing of ad copy and creatives, keyword adjustments, and the introduction of negative keywords, our PPC specialists have improved click-through rates (CTR), reduced budget waste, and increased ROAS figures.

Continuous bid strategy adjustments and daily budget monitoring were essential to achieving high-quality scores across targeted local search terms.

Notably, in July, conversions increased significantly—up by 44%—with only a slight increase in budget and tweaks to the landing pages, such as adding a quick leads form above the page’s fold.
